Murillo Xavier (Sao Paulo, Brazil – September, 20th 1995) is a musician and songwriter
He started his musical path playing drums at the church when he was 9 years old. After watching the G3: Live in Denver DVD, Xavier was caught in a passion for guitar when he first saw Steve Vai playing a triple neck guitar in his perfomance of 'I Know You're Here'. That moment was decisive for Xavier to choose guitar as he main instrument since there.
At the age of 10, he started the music studies with a home teacher. As he was growing up in the studies, his teacher advised him to search new horizons with another school. So, at the 13, he joined the IG&T (Brazilian school inspired on GIT – Guitar Institute and Technology), where he graduated at the age of 17 in Fusion Guitar. After few years, Xavier came back to IG&T to studied with one of the greatest guitar teacher of Brazil: Mozart Mello.
During his carrer, Xavier released many different kind of musical project. He released 3 singles with the prog metal band D.Volvo, founded and released 1 instrumental EP and 1 full length with the melodic death metal project M.H.X's Chronicles and released 2 full lengths with the prog/modern metal project Sound Seasons Project.
Furthermore, Xavier gives musical classes since he was 15 years old. First, he started to give particular classes until 2015 when he founded the Espaço Musical Didaquê, his musical school based on Sao Paulo, Brazil. He was the CEO and Teacher of Didaquê until 2020, when the school had to close the doors due to the Covid-19 pandemic crysis.
