I'm so excited to annouce to you my brand new single with the amazing Higor Emanoel. 'Doors To Imagination' bring some sort of prog, modern and djent music, with punchy guitar riffs and massive drums groove.
I wrote this song 3 years ago exclusive for my friend and incredible drummer Higor Emanoel. He asked me to write a song influenced by modern metal bands as Periphery, Animals as Leaders, Meshuggah and others. I was caught by a deeper creative insight and I wrote this entire song in only 2 days. There're some very hard parts to playing. I did some crazy polyrhitmic parts, mixing some tappings in the guitar with some crazy kick drums line. After this, there's a chromatic sounding guitar solo, kind of outside stuff. Then, we walk through a prog session, more dynamic. We start in a soft and calm part, with a clean guitar with shimmer, growing up the dynamics to some very heavy breakdown beofre the last chorus.
Ah! And this is the very first time I did the mixing entirely by myself, including the real drums.
